Scart Tracking- 65 Shots!!!!!
We are approaching the end of our 2 Week deadline to track the 65shots for the "Scart" production, with the majority requiring both scene and object tracks. We were shooting at f1.4-2 so shallow DOF proves difficult in our scene tracks, and with a shutter speed of 50 our object tracks during the running sequences become a challenge. Never the less we find ourselves ahead of schedule, with only 5-6shots to complete.
We have been using Boujou, PFTrack, Syntheyes and Matchmover to track on a shot by shot basis, if there are no features to track then we do it by hand in maya, positioning the proxy mesh ever 10 frames then fine tuning. This has been our life for the past week, and we are glad this is coming to an end. Shaders and rendering NEXT.
